So rest assured your pet will always have access to everything they need to lead a healthy and happy life with you.
Below is a list of some of the services we offer/facilities we have for small animals:
Health checks
The majority of health conditions that pets are susceptible to don’t always have obvious symptoms. You are therefore strongly recommended to bring your pet to see us for a check-up once a year. This is done free of charge at the same time as their annual vaccinations.

Puppy/kitten health checks & vaccinations
It’s important that puppies & kittens are monitored closely for the first six months of their lives to ensure they’re growing nicely with no potential problems. Additionally, all animals should be vaccinated at an early age to prevent them from catching harmful conditions.

In-house laboratory
Thanks to our well equipped in-house laboratory, we are able to get important test results back extremely quickly. In extreme cases, this has proven invaluable when an animal’s life is on the line.
Dental care
One in three pets will experience some form of dental problem during their lifetime, so annual dental checks are strongly advised for all cats, dogs and rabbits. At Eden Vets we have both experience and equipment to help combat early signs of tooth and gum problems, as well as treating conditions that have already developed.

X-Rays and Ultrasounds
If we ever need to take a non-invasive, painless look inside your pet’s body, we’re able to do so thanks to our digital X-ray and ultrasound machines. Whether it’s a potential bone injury, suspected pregnancy or abdominal pain that requires further examination, we are equipped to do so.
Neutering
If you don’t intend to breed from your companion, neutering is highly advised. As well as making it impossible for your pet to breed, neutering has a number of other benefits including prevention of certain cancers and reduced risk of certain unwanted behaviours.

Microchipping
Microchipping your pet is the most responsible action to take if you care about your pet’s whereabouts. Whether your companion is the most obedient pet in the world, or a little flighty, a small chip embedded under the skin will ensure they have your contact details with them at all times.

Parasite control
Fleas and worms are common parasites that can affect both animals and humans. They can cause discomfort, carry diseases and when left to develop, become difficult to get rid of once they’ve moved into your home furnishings.
At Eden Vets we believe in a preventative approach to parasites; after all, why wait for your companion to develop a problem that could have been prevented?

Pet Passports
If you intend to take your pet out of the country they will require a passport, just like you. In order to obtain a passport however, your companion must meet particular criteria. You are therefore recommended to allow at least 6 weeks before you travel to ensure your pet’s passport is completed.
