When it comes to pets, we understand that a trip in the car doesn’t always go as smoothly as planned; there can be accidents, crying and extreme stress. Then there are the animals that are too old or poorly to travel. But all of these animals still deserve the very best veterinary care possible, and that’s where we can help.

At Eden Vets we appreciate that it’s not always feasible to get your pet to our practice. That’s why we offer a home visiting service whereby one of our friendly, experienced vets will come to your home to examine your companion.

In our experience, if you have a pet that doesn’t travel well, they may benefit from being examined at home. As well as being in familiar surroundings, animals are more likely to demonstrate everyday behaviour somewhere they’re comfortable, which can make examining and diagnosing potential problems significantly easier.

It is however important to realise that a home visit is not always ideal or in the best interests of every pet. Our practice is fully stocked with equipment and a full range of drugs plus experienced people to help hold your pet, all of which cannot be transferred to your home.

So whether it’s your companion preventing you from getting to us hassle-free, or a personal circumstance (for example mobility problems or not being able to drive), you can rest assured your pet will still receive the unrivalled standards of care that you have come to expect from our practice.
