Eden Veterinary Practice was established by Ainslie Smith in 2003 to provide veterinary care for the animals around North East Fife from the practice in Cupar.

The practice cares for all shapes and sizes of animals from the smallest hamster to the largest clydesdale horse.

Staff in the Practice

Consultations are by appointment at the practice, which ensures reduced waiting times for owner and patient before they see the vet. We find this reduces the stress to both.

There is ample parking close to the pracice to avoid having to carry cat cages and poorly dogs too far. However if necessary home visits can be made by arrangement with the practice.

Our 24 hour emergency service is staffed solely by the vets in the practice. This allows good continuity of care for our patients plus our clients are coming to a familiar environment when worried in the middle of the night. We have nursing staff available outwith normal opening hours to assist with surgery if required.

If your pet requires to be hospitalised there are separate dog and cat kennel areas. There is an on site operating theatre, x-ray , ultrasound and laboratory facilities.

Practice standards

The practice is a member of the Practice Standards Scheme.

The vets in the practice are members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, British Veterinary Association, British Small Animal Veterinary Association + the British Cattle Veterinary Association

The practice is easy to find. It is located within Cupar Trading Estate which is off the A91 between Cupar and Dairsie.

Practice building
If travelling from Cupar head towards Dairsie go straight over the first roundabout, take the first right, follow the road round along the front of Reekies heading towards the Mitsubishi garage, then take the 1st left between Reekies and the Mitsubishi Garage. The practice is on the left 50 yards down.
